Jeffrey Lyman returns to the island of Saint-Barthélemy in the French West Indies for another season of the St. Barth Music Festival. On Wednesday, January 17, he joins his colleagues Brian Lewis, violin, Francis Gouton, violoncello, and Alecia Lawyer, oboe, in a performance of Joseph Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante in B flat, Hob. I/105. Other concertos complete the program, along with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. On January 19 the orchestra will present a concert version of Bizet’s Carmen.
