Join Professor Lyman, pianist Justin Snyder and UM bassoonists Saralyn Klepaczyk, Liam Jackson and Eric Rothacker for a program of "newer" works for bassoon. Included are the Sonata for Bassoon and Piano by André Previn, two works inspired by French wines: Un Soir à St. Emilion by Henri Sauguet, Carignane by Jacques Ibert, the bassoon quartet version of Marc Mellits popular work Black and the beautiful Andante from the posthumous Deux pièces pour basson et piano by Jean Françaix.
